A British Bronze Sculptor with Global Reach

For over a decade, Charles Elliott Sculpture has been creating luxury bronze artwork that captures emotion, craftsmanship, and the movement of nature. From his rural studio in the Chiltern Hills, England, Charles and his small team of craftsmen hand-build each bronze sculpture for collectors, designers, and galleries worldwide.

Once known as Elliott of London, the studio rebranded to Charles Elliott Sculpture — a more personal chapter reflecting Charles’s own name, hands, and creative journey. Today, his sculptures are found in private collections across the USA, Europe, Asia, and Australia, bringing a touch of timeless British craftsmanship to homes and gardens around the world.

Why Bronze? The Material that Lasts Forever

“After years working in steel, I wanted a material with more warmth and permanence,” says Charles. “Bronze has a richness that feels alive — it captures every mark and fingerprint from the clay. It’s timeless, strong, and built to outlast us all.”

Bronze sculpture has been celebrated for thousands of years, and Charles continues that tradition with his own modern twist. The material’s warm tones and endless patination possibilities give each sculpture its unique character — no two pieces are ever the same.

The Making of a Bronze Sculpture

Every sculpture begins as a moment — an idea inspired by wildlife, movement, or a fleeting form in nature. Charles shapes his ideas directly in clay, building and carving until the piece feels alive. From there, his foundry team creates silicone moulds and wax editions, before casting the piece in molten bronze using the traditional lost-wax method.

“The moment when the shell is broken away and you see your clay sculpture reborn in bronze never gets old,” Charles says. “It’s a mix of tradition, chemistry, and sheer craftsmanship.”

Capturing Movement in Metal

Charles’s signature style blends structure and freedom — capturing energy and stillness in equal measure. “Even though bronze is heavy, it shouldn’t look static,” he explains. “I chase rhythm in the lines until the sculpture feels ready to move.”

This sense of life has made Charles Elliott Sculpture a favourite among art collectors and interior designers seeking truly dynamic bronze pieces for luxury homes and gardens.

Handmade in England, Collected Worldwide

Each sculpture is made entirely by hand — designed by Charles and brought to life with the help of his small team of craftsmen. “Craftsmanship is everything,” he says. “In a world of mass production, people still value something made by hand, with care and authenticity.”

Whether it’s a hare mid-leap, an abstract form, or the 4-metre bronze horse head currently being sculpted for a private collector in Cheshire, every piece carries the touch, vision, and soul of its maker.

“I want people to feel calm, connection, and curiosity when they see my work — the same feeling I get when I’m sculpting.”
