Inspiring Installations….

Following one of the beautiful coast roads through Devon, we were able to take in some of the most spectacular views – albeit not the easiest of drives with our Elliott trailer in tow!

We finally dissented down the winding roads to one of the quaintest hamlets in South Devon.
This beautiful, thatched cottage was home to one of the most breath taking & inspiring wildflower gardens we have ever seen. The cottage itself dates back to 1547, back when Henry VIII was on the throne & it was a very different world! Our lovely clients have lived here since 1987 & they have kept up the immaculate vintage feel & have honoured the history of this beautiful home along with making their stamp on the wildflower garden.
Their garden is open to many & they even offer a service to brides to be where they can spend the day picking & selecting as many flowers as they need for the special day!
Tucked away at the top of the garden is keven a delightful little air raid shelter that is slowly being converted back to how it would have been all those many years ago – the entire home just oozes history with a large splash of colour & character.

We created our Bronze Patina Equilibrio Sculpture, once carefully carried up the hill from the trailer, we meandered our way through all the different smells, colours & paths to the sculptures new home!
Once we had dug away the area & navigated our way around the array of flower bulbs scattered in the soil, it was time to peg down & secure the Equilibrio sculpture. One secured we could then start to recover & replant the bulbs around the base of the sculpture.
The reaction & words from our client really reminded us why we love our job so much, the passion & contentment our sculptures can create still outstands us!

The location for this piece just perfect & we know people will be able to enjoy it for years to come!

The pictures of this home do not do it enough justice & we had a lovely time installing this for this wonderful couple – We have been so inspired by the garden & journey…………The artistic spark was relit!
