Elliott of London’s British up & coming Young Event Rider, David Britnell.
David is based locally to our studio in Buckinghamshire & it was an absolute no brainer to have him as part of our Elliott of London sponsored team.

About David Britnell Eventing
David started riding at the age of 13, he quickly fell in love with the thrill of jumping at speed. Shortly after beginning to ride, he suddenly realised the importance of dressage and flatwork required within any discipline. He began training in all three disciplines that are then combined for Eventing and in 2019 he achieved his dream of competing at Badminton. David and Continuity (aka Brad) made Badminton history, being the first combination to compete at grassroots and then at 5*. Something we are extremely proud of him for.
David currently competes Brad, who he has owned & ridden since 2009. They’ve come through from Grassroots all the way up to FEI 5* together. So far David & Brad‘s best result was 10th place at Pau International in his first FEI CIC4* and competing at Badminton 5* with a clear round in cross country. This follows his success at 3* and 2* and has been selected to compete in the Event Rider Masters series.
His other rides are all an attribute to David as he works hard behind the scenes, building up relationships and trust with his horses. His focus now is for the coming season, enhancing his international status and campaigning his ever-growing string of young horses.
David does not only just compete; he has a wonderful coaching ethic & the proof is in the pudding when you see the benefits & results of the clients under David’s coaching wings. He is regarded highly in our local Pony Club teams & on a wider scale across the eventing scene too. With an ever growing following & support he really is one to watch in the years to come.
We look forward to continuing our support of David & his team, we wish them all the best of luck at up & coming events.
