Two Local Sculptures Stolen!

Two Abstract Spiral Sculptures by British Sculptor Charles Elliott were stolen last night whilst on show at Hampden Estate near Great Missenden Buckinghamshire – These specific spiral sculptures have been on show near Great Missenden since the start of September and would be recognised by most local residents or commuters.

Charles and other local artists have shown their work on the estate for many years with no issues.

“We have sculpture on show to the public throughout the Home Counties and London, this is the first time someone has even attempted to steal our work. We hope the community enjoy seeing our work and will help us track these down.” Says Charles Elliott

During the night of 17th October, a vehicle pulled up onto the grass, where they were welded to large metal blocks, they managed to snap the welds off with some sort of chain, and loaded them by hand onto their vehicle.

Buckinghamshire based Sculptor Charles Elliott creates his sculptures by in hand in his Chesham Studio his work is well known locally and identifiable by most people locally.

As shown in the picture the sculptures were in a bright red and gloss black finish approximately 6ft high each with a price tag of £1250 each.
